Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire fromThe Captive Reader and Marg from The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
Items I Got:
Audio Books--The Schwa Was Here by Neal Shusterman: I have read this book before but when I saw the audio book and that the author was the narrator I had to get it.-Antsy Does Time by Neal Shusterman: I have also read this book before and wanted to get the audio book because it is the sequel to The Schwa Was Here.
Books--The Fault In Our Stars by John Green: I got this book because I have read Looking For Alaska, An Abundance Of Katherines, and Paper Towns all by John Green and I loved them all. I was surprised that my library had this book but when I saw it on the shelf I snatched it up.-Jane In Bloom by Deborah Lytton: I got this because it was on the shelf that has recommendations from the librarians and it sounded really good.-Little Brother by Cory Doctorow: I got it because it was also on the recommendation shelf it sounded good. I had also heard about it previously on Writing Excuses podcasts.
Items I Requested:-Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler: I requested this because I love the lemony snicket books and Daniel Handler is the guy that wrote those.
